this baby is twenty-nine weeks grown today, and her mom and dad could not be happier about it. she had a really great christmas by way of gifts (and sugary treats), she is already spoiled thanks to fantastic friends and family that already love her so much.

we are starting to get used to the idea that she is actually going to be around in real life soon. that's weird, and so exciting.

by far the best commercial i have ever seen. i tap warner every time it comes on to make him watch it like he hasn't seen it fifty times before.

sweat pants are all that fits me right now

so i'm starting to actually look pregnant these days, like real pregnant. people that don't know me are starting to notice and comment--that makes me feel good, i think--because now i don't just look like i've been eating carbs and bars to make me gain weight like regina george.

i have had to start wearing maternity pants too, the line "sweat pants are all that fits me right now" pops in my head every morning while i'm getting dressed. it helps me not feel bad about wearing sweats most days. it also applies to coats, "this coat is the only one that zips up now", and shirts "this shirt is the only one long enough to make sure the bottom of my belly doesn't stick out". so... if you see me wearing the same clothes like everyday... that's why.

as much as i hate getting dressed in the morning because nothing fits, i am honestly so grateful to see this belly of mine becoming large, and knowing that this baby girl is growing healthy and strong. as i enter my third trimester i am thankful for the little things, like not having kidney stones anymore, having tests come back saying i in fact do not have preeclampsia, oh and chocolate.

so for now things are good on the home front, and i'll just keep quoting mean girls every morning--and growing this child.

really the only good part is the woman singing the "ohhhhh sometimes, i get a good feeling", she is great. so just close your eyes cause this video is pretty whack, then ignore all the flo rida parts and you'll probably like it and have it stuck in your head for your whole life too. 

things are getting christmaseee around here

i started christmas shopping over a month ago... but just barely have i started officially decorated. it's a lot of work! so far i have my nativity set out, watched all of the christmas classics (you know, those weird felty santa and rudolf movies) and today i put up a christmas advent calendar! let the countdown begin!

i'm getting soooo excited for christmas!

baby, baby, baby ohhh

as my justinesque title alludes, i am indeed pregnant (hopefully most of you know this by now), seventeen weeks yesterday! warner and i are beyond excited about this change in our lives, and can't wait for this little jarman to come around in march.

a few things we know about this baby thus far--

it has gone through ever fruit and vegetable i know while growing each week. currently it is a sweet potato?

as i found out today, it likes routine and structure. i normally eat a piece of toast as soon as i wake up--but i was distracted today and only got to grab a bag full of dried mangoes to eat on the way to class. baby did not like this--and rejected those mangoes completely--good thing i walked in the door from class before they were rejected. ew.

i don't know this for a fact, but im pretty sure this baby like nicki minaj. actually, i don't know how it couldn't cause she is pretty much all i listen too. (don't worry, it's edited for the most part. i'm not already the worst mom in the world)

i also know this baby is spoiled, is it bad that i already have a huge stockpile of stuff that i probably wont need for like a year? whoops. i can't stop.

this baby reeeeeeally likes salty stuff, or maybe just i do. regardless--that's all i ever want. oh and i suddenly want coffee allofthetime. i have never even had a cup of coffee. seriously, everything i can't have i want so sosososo much.

oh this baby doesn't like math class either (takes after me), it never wants to wake up and go. oh well.

bf got married. no, not boyfriend.

my best friend! melrae got herself hitched, and it was the most beautifully perfect day and reception ever. she looked beautiful of course, and was glowing the entire day.

my questions are answered!

so a couple of weeks ago warner and i were driving--and i couldn't stop thinking about who invented the hot dog... and then the hamburger. it's been on my mind ever since google gave a somewhat unsatisfying answer. well today i turned on the history channel (my very favorite) and my perfect show turned on! it not only went into depth about the beginnings of hot dogs and hamburgers, but pizza too. i'm so grateful for the history channel.

as you can tell i am unemployed... and trying hard to be productive. it's not happening.

i think ill go get like ten hambugers and five hot dogs. ew.

with all this time on my hands i have been sewing--as i have mentioned. then i figured i'd better do something with this surplus of monkeys i have on my hands. so i made an etsy shop. there are not very many things on there--but i figured it's a start. if you would like to check it out click here. 

in other news, i will grace the great state of utah once again here in 13 days, and i am way way excited. there is nothing like a utah fourth of july. :))

seems like since we have been here i have been a sewing machine (ha). really though, i haven't stopped sewing. it's very strange. sometimes i feel like i'm one of the women from the forties in a sweat shop--and then i remember i am doing it on my own accord and can stop any time, and that i actually enjoy it. weird experience.

 i laid by the pool yesterday and was actually sweating droplets, i don't think that has ever even happened to me. this place is crazy!

the last couple of days i re watched the tv series America, because.... it came on netflix. everyone should watch it before the forth. i'm not even kidding, i'm so patriotic i almost bought a flag to permanently hang off of our balcony. i feel like throwing ten independence day parties and going all out.  it can be easy to forget what our country is all about, and all of the people that worked so hard to keep it that way. i feel like a transformed human. doo it. 

remember how i'm home alone all day? i have a lot of time to do things like take pictures on my computer and research the life of katherine hepburn. well i think that's all that is coming out of the thinking box today. seeeeee ya.

park day

before we left i got to go on a park day adventure with lindey and nora, it was so great. here are the photographical results.

i went to the pool today for 2 hours. it was more than pleasant.

i can't stop pinning on pinterest. there are 7 million things i want to do and make. 

i've been making crafts like crazy. four blankets, a pillow, and two stitched birds. huh?

i do the dishes every two hours because we didn't bring any dishes and i only purchased two bowls, four plates, and cups at target. i go through that many dishes in an hour, (mom and dad, i have finally learned why you hated when i had ten half full cups all over the house).

i cook every night, and i mean every night. we have not eaten out since we have been here, that's a HUGE milestone. 

now i think i'll continue to listen to florence's "heavy in your arms" on repeat some more.

well

we made it! the cross country drive honestly wasn't too bad, if we discount the two days we spent in cheyenne (most boring town in the world), snow storms and tornado warnings. bleh. really though the drive was not as boring as i thought it might be once we got past nebraska. missouri was probably my favorite, maybe even kentucky?  they looked like this.... and i was not complaining about the awesomeness of the trees.

then, while eating kentucky fried chicken in the parking lot we saw this cutie. yeah... he was a stray and broke my heart. but we fed him and he was nice, and now i want a dog just like him. k thanks warner. 

then we got to missouri and saw the gateway to the west, but in our case the east. that was actually pretty cool, and st. louis was also a really interesting city--even though there was a freeway detour and our gps took us through a one way alley and the scariest road i've ever seen. 

finally we are in nc, enjoying the humidity. wait.. but really, everyone is extremely nice here. i went to target the other day and people were always smiling and being so polite--it made me smile more and be polite, i have rather enjoyed it. southern hospitality is real, go figure. this post has taken me three days to compile due to the fact that we do not have our internet hooked up yet and i am going off the free wifi our apartment has that comes and go continually throughout the day (yes i am constantly looking crazy and moving my laptop throughout the house to gain some sort of signal). so... who knows when my next post will be, but until then--happy summer!

today i told someone to "have a good idea!" instead of "have a good day!" on the phone at work. luckily she just said "you too!" and the conversation ended.

today i showed up to my final with no notebook paper--it was a short answer and essay test in which i needed notebook paper. not to mention i forgot my textbook for the open book portion. uhh. losin it.

today, the same lady that has called me every week at work for a month called again. i think i passed out for a second when i heard her name. i'm not going to go into it cause i'll probably pass out again, but i'll just say in my two years of working in customer service she is the worst person i have ever spoken to. AHH!

today i was five cents short when i went to buy a snickers. luckily the receptionist helped me out and i was able to satisfy my 3:00 sugar craving.

today i have two take home finals to do that i haven't started yet. yes, really.

today is a pretty good day.

three days until im done with work, can't believe it. it snowed today, im not going to make a comment cause everyone in my facebook world has. let's just say im way mad.

we are officially moved out of this place.

there are babies everywhere! i'm not complaining--but like whaaat? so many babies. my dear friend melissa and i were discussing the issue today (via gchat of course), that babies are like some sort of safely kept secret, that no one wants you to know about. THEY ARE THE BEST THINGS. like, i'm not even kidding. i'm just so excited for every human having babies--let me come to your baby showers and give you presents cause i just love buying baby things.
